About Korean facials
What is a Korean facial?
A Korean facial is a results-focused treatment built to improve your skin over time, not just to feel relaxing for an hour. It centers on a meticulous double cleanse, careful extractions, layered hydrating actives and massage. At Aesthetic Kay in San Francisco, every facial follows this method.
How is it different from a regular facial?
Traditional American facials are built mostly around relaxation. Korean facials are built around change: clearer pores, a stronger skin barrier, more even tone, and healthier skin over a series of visits. Ours are relaxing too, but the results are the point.
What is glass skin?
Glass skin is the Korean term for skin that looks clear, dewy and luminous, as if lit from within. It comes from deep hydration and a healthy skin barrier.
Do you speak Korean?
Yes. You’re welcome to book and talk about your skin in Korean or English.
About our treatments
Which facial should I book first?
The Signature “Glass Skin” hydrating facial, $169, is the right first visit for almost everyone. If you’re coming for a specific concern like acne, dark spots or texture, book that treatment directly.
Do you do extractions? Will my face be red?
Yes, and carefully. Skilled extraction is our specialty. Mild pinkness for a few hours is normal after thorough work, and it settles quickly.
What products do you use?
Professional Korean skincare lines alongside Cellex-C, chosen for each treatment and each client’s skin.
Pricing and membership
How much does a facial cost at Aesthetic Kay?
Facials range from $169 to $250. The Signature “Glass Skin” hydrating facial is $169, Acne clear and Brighten & spot correct are $180 each, and Renew: microneedle & texture is $250.
How does the Glow Plan membership work?
You choose how many facials you’d like each month, from one to four, starting at $159 a month. You get a member rate on every facial, priority booking, 10% off boosters and products, and a guest pass each year.
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Yes, anytime, with no fee. Unused visits roll over for one month.
Do you offer packages?
Yes. Acne clear and Brighten & spot correct are available as programs: 5 sessions $855 or 10 sessions $1,620.

What are your hours?
Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM. Closed Sunday and Monday.
What if I need to reschedule?
Just let us know at least 24 hours ahead and we’ll find you another time.
Aftercare
Do I need to buy products?
No. We’ll always tell you what your skin needs, and if you’d like the key pieces, they’re here so there’s nothing to hunt for.
